Kelly Ferrara – President
Kelly is a true brand guardian. She immerses herself in the brands she works for and helps in-house teams and executives stay true to the core essence of that brand. She brings a strategic perspective to her work that focuses on who the target audiences are, what brand messages should be communicated and what channels will best deliver the right message to the right audience.
Kelly brings almost 20 years of experience in messaging, strategy and implementation to her clients. Her work for agencies, corporations and nonprofits has provided her access to a host of industries and has helped form a depth of perspective in the strategic communications world. Kelly specializes in corporate training, brand communications, crisis communications, media training, executive coaching, and strategic communications planning and implementation.
Kelly’s work as team leader for a variety of clients has touched on nearly every aspect of strategic communications tactics including research, training, strategy, implementation, creative efforts and coaching. She completed the MIT-Harvard Public Disputes Resolution program and is certified by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) program in crisis and emergency risk communication planning.
Kelly spent more than 11 years in roles of increasing responsibility for a St. Louis public relations firm where she led client engagement and employee development, along with significant business development responsibilities. Prior to that Kelly was the business services manager for the St. Louis Regional Chamber & Growth Association and was the acting director of the student center at Saint Louis University.
Bachelor’s degree in English Education from Southern Illinois University-Carbondale and completed extensive masters level classes in higher education.
Kelly completed the MIT-Harvard Public Disputes Resolution Program “Dealing with an Angry Public”. Kelly is certified to administer the Myers-Briggs® Personality Type Indicator. Kelly is also certified as a Trainer by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in Crisis and Emergency Risk Communications.
